A parcels conveyor consisting of a number of identical roller/shaft units (2, 3, 4,...) extending along the width of the conveyor, each of them connected to a link (5) of a longitudinally rigid, but sidewards flexible chain, e.g. a cardan chain, by which the conveyor due to a push force exerted at one end thereof can be introduced rectilinearly and/or in a curve into the cargo compartment of e.g. an aircraft. The roller/shaft units have upper supporting rollers for the cargo to be transported, and lower supporting rollers (30, 31) which together with the chain carry the units (2, 3, 4,...) on the floor (6).
