The method proposed for producing an elastic intermediate layer for railway tracks consists in either a) spreading rubber granules with a granule size of 5 to 25 mm on to the foundation to form a layer 10 to 100 mm thick and then spraying the layer with a multi-component adhesive or b) first mixing the rubber granules with the multi-component adhesive and then applying and spreading the mixture on the foundation to form a layer 10 to 100 mm thick.
