A slurry recovery system for a wet cutting saw including watering section (10), containment section (20), gas-liquid separator section (100) and discharge section (200). The watering section (10) contains a pressure gauge (12), shut-off valve (13) and flow meter (14) to control the flow of liquid onto the saw blade (21). Containment section (20) includes blade cover (22) and bellows (30) forming a sawing chamber (35). A drag bar (40) skids along the cutting surface and removes slurry therefrom. Drag bar (40) includes inner and outer flexible walls (43, 44) that create a vacuum chamber (45). Slurry is vacuumed out and conveyed to a gas-liquid separator tank (101). The slurry passes to a diaphragm pump (210) and the air passes to discharge blower (113). The separator tank (101) includes blower protector (120) with float (123) and seals (127). When the slurry level rises above a desired level, float (120) prevents slurry from passing through air outlet port (113). Waste slurry is drawn from separator tank (101), via diaphragm pump (210) and surge tank (252), and stored.
