The invention relates to an electromechanical control unit for adjusting devices in motor vehicles as claimed in the characterizing clause of claim 1 and is especially advantageously applicable to a window raising drive in a vehicle door. According to the invention, the electromechanical drive (1, 2) the electronic unit (3, 3', 3") and the switch (4, 4', 4", 5, 5', 6') of the electromechanical control unit form a pre-testable modular unit. Each switch preferably engages positively with a cover (40) and is elastically mounted in relation to the electronic unit (3"), e.g. via a flexible flat strip cable connection.
