Abstract:
In a method of transmitting a digital data message in predetermined time slots within fixed length time intervals, data in a frame according to a first format is processed for transmission in a frame according to a second format. The formats are in accordance with different data link control protocols. Upon reception, the frame according to the first format is retrieved.
