The invention relates to a slide ring seal arrangement, especially for a liquid gas seal, comprising a main seal (A) which faces the product (liquid gas) to be sealed and a secondary seal (B) which faces away from the product. These two seals delimit a sealing chamber (4) between them and are configured as slide ring seals, each having a pair of slide rings (5, 6; 12, 13). Said slide rings have interactive surfaces (7, 8; 14, 15), at least one of which contains recesses capable of transporting fluid. The recesses on the main seal side open out onto the peripheral boundary of the sealing surface (8) which is exposed to the product. The total fluid transportation capacity of the recesses on the main seal side is less than that of the recesses on the secondary seal side, the latter opening out onto the peripheral boundary of the sealing surface (15) which faces away from the sealing chamber. The main seal (A) is configured as a non-contact hybrid slide ring seal. The secondary seal (B) is configured as a pure gas-lubricated slide ring seal, the ambient air being used as a lubricant rather than the volatilised liquid gas in the sealing chamber.
