Abstract:
The invention relates to a magnet system forming part of a relay characterized by especially low-noise switching. The magnet system comprises a core unit (1), an armature (6) and a coil which is not illustrated. The armature (6) is preloaded in an open position. Low-noise switching is achieved because the armature (6) is shaped in such a way that the front end of the armature pole face, as seen in the direction of closure, is substantially perpendicular to a connecting line (16) leading to the locating edge (12). Moreover, when the armature is attracted (6) the core pole face (9) is at least approximately parallel to the armature pole face (8). The system provided for in the invention requires no additional noise-reduction parts and thus has a very simple and compact structure.
