The present invention refers to a welding torch for electrical arc welding processes, which comprises a contact tip through which passes a welding wire, and a shielding gas nozzle disposed around the contact tip, wherein the internal diameter of the shielding gas nozzle (5) is at most double the external diameter of the contact tip (2), and the contact tip (2) extends through an aperture (7) to the outside of the gas nozzle (5). Furthermore, the welding torch can present a welding fumes suction nozzle (8), the suction aperture (10) of which is near to aperture (7) of the gas nozzle (5) or in the same plane of it. The invention also refers to a gas nozzle shielding gas (5), the internal diameter of which is at most the double of the external diameter of the contact tip (2). The invention also refers to a contact tip, which is a cut piece of tube.
