The invention can be advantageously applied in a reeling cylinder containing a cylindrical core part (1) and on the surface of the same a coating (2) composed of at least two coating layers (2a, 2b). The interface (3) between the coating layers (2a, 2b) is at least partly, preferably mainly curved in the longitudinal cross-section of the cylinder structure.
