PRINTERS COMPRISING A DRIVE ASSEMBLY AND A COUPLING
Abstract:
A printer (02) has a cylinder pair consisting of a form cylinder (03) and a transfer cylinder (04), as well as a steel cylinder or satellite cylinder (08) which forms a print position together with the transfer cylinder (04). The form cylinder (03) and the transfer cylinder (04) form a fixed coupling drive assembly (7) which is driven by a common drive motor (06). The drive assembly (07) of the cylinder pair and the drive system (13) of the steel cylinder or satellite cylinder (08) can be switchably mechanically coupled to each other with a coupling (12) if desired.
