Abstract:
The present invention is a method and apparatus (110) for food handling, comprising a member for the support of a food item; and a covering (410, 710, 1010) for the member, wherein said covering is formed with an anti-microbial agent to retard the growth of microbes. In a particular embodiment, the covering comprises a foam padding.
