Abstract:
A release layer (22) is formed on the surface of a first supporting sheet (20). An electrode layer (12a) is then formed on the surface of the release layer (22). When the electrode layer (12a) is adhered to a surface of a green sheet (10a) by pressing the electrode layer (12a) onto the surface of the green sheet (10a), an adhesive layer (28) is formed on the surface of the electrode layer (12a) or that of the green sheet (10a) by a transfer method. Consequently, the dry electrode layer can be easily transferred onto the surface of the green sheet highly precisely without breaking or deforming the green sheet and without allowing a component of the adhesive layer to permeate into the electrode layer or the green sheet. Since separation of the supporting sheet is very easy, a multilayer ceramic capacitor can be produced at low cost.
