A method for manufacturing substantially moisture resistant closures for flexible packages, the method comprising providing a roll (120) of material, printing a design (118) on the roll (120), heating the roll (120), forming a three-dimensional shape in the roll substantially proximate to the design (118) and cutting the roll substantially proximate to the three-dimensional shape and the design (118).
