Abstract:
A fixture assembly (40) for securely positioning a plurality of blades (24) loosely assembled on to a rotor (22) of a gas turbine engine in which axial clamping forces are translated to apply radial expansion forces on the blades (24) to simulate a centrifugal force on the blades (24) during engine operation.
