During the installation of pipes, valves, fittings, or other materials, people tend to neglect to install guides, slides, pipe supports or a misalignment on piping, or create situations where welding is limited. This creates unnecessary work for the installer and considerable cost to the companies to rectify this problem. The installer, pipe fitter or welder must rig chain falls or use cranes to lift pipes or other materials to clear the beams to get enough clearance to install the missing pieces.
