Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining a repeater signal is provided. A method of determining a repeater signal includes: receiving signals from a base station or a repeater and generating sector information and strength information regarding the signals; and determining, using the strength information and the sector information, whether a predicted repeater signal is received via the repeater, depending on whether the signals include a signal received from another sector different from a sector corresponding to the predicted repeater signal, and whether the strength of the predicted repeater signal is greater than a predetermined reference value.
