Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provided for controlling a display unit using a portable processing device, the method comprising a user performing an authentication on the portable processing device, receiving a personalized user interface on the portable processing device, the user interface comprising data indicative of at least one application displayed on the display unit and corresponding additional data related to the at least one application and performing a selection on the user interface using the data indicative of at least one application displayed on the display unit and corresponding additional data related to the at least one application.
