A system and method for determining physiological parameters of a patient (117) based on light transmitted through the patient. The light may be transmitted via an emitter (116) and received by a detector array (118) that includes a plurality of detector elements (146). The emitter (116) and the detector (118) may both be located on a flexible substrate (148).
