Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell module using a foil and to a dye-sensitized solar cell manufactured by the method. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a dye-sensitized solar cell module using a foil and to a dye-sensitized solar cell manufactured by the method, wherein the dye-sensitized solar cell module is formed by integrating dye-sensitized solar cells, each of which comprises a working electrode substrate and a catalyst electrode substrate opposite each other, and an electrolyte which fills the space between the substrates; and an electrical connection between electrodes of the working electrode substrate and the catalyst electrode substrate is carried out such that a metal foil is inserted between the opposite portions of the electrodes of the two substrates, and the two substrates are compressed against each other so as to enable the two substrates to contact each other, and the metal foil is electrified and melted to couple the electrodes of the two substrates together. According to the present invention, a uniform and high-quality electrical contact between electrodes is achieved during the integration of dye-sensitized solar cells, and therefore contact resistance between electrodes during the integration of dye-sensitized solar cells is prevented in order to achieve improved efficiency of solar cells.
