A machine (10) for loading double or multiple portions of food and non-food products in horizontal rows such as but not limited to biscuits or similar, designed to carry out the portioning of products, such as biscuits or similar, in double or multiple horizontal rows of predetermined length, said machine having a sloping aspect to allow the products to be fed in by means of an infeed chute (11) arranged according to a certain slope, this being the slope assumed by the working components that allow the division of the horizontal rows of biscuits into portions or "slugs", where the products (12) present on the infeed chute (11), which face each other in a substantially vertical position with respect to the chute (11) with a side edge resting on the chute (11) so as to form continuous rows, are moved forward to be intercepted in a first station by a presser (13) activated at right angles with respect to the infeed direction by a piston (14), wherein downstream of the first station with the presser (13) is a first separating blade (15) and a second separating blade consisting of a pair of forks (16, 17) working independently of each other and synchronised in succession, downstream of the chute (11) and in a continuous way with respect to the slide so that the slugs can continue their path, there being a mobile slide (19), hinged on a pin (20), the slide (19) being surmounted by a stop device (21) which moves in the product infeed direction, while below the mobile slide (19) is a double or multiple-sector conveyer to transfer the pairs or multiple portions of slugs to a packaging machine.
