Shielding structure comprising a plurality of interconnected stretch- able inflatable balloons, wherein each stretchable balloon (3) is provided with an insertion valve (4), a release valve (22) and a power point (17) and is rolled off a spool (12) from a transport vehicle (1) at a desired location and laid on the ground. All necessary connection are rolled off from individual spring loaded spools and connected to the balloon, rings (6) being embedded within the structure of the balloon. To extend the shielding structure vertically or horizontally further balloons will be joined by tying the rings (6) together as well as- by interconnecting the gas insertion tubes, the connecting valves, the gas release tubes, the power cables and the hose sheath means from the first balloon to the second balloon an so on, so as to add as many balloons as required to form a large shielding structure of the type canopy, shelter, roof, energy producing structure, sun protection shield, disaster zone emergency shelter or protection shield against natural calamities.
