A column material and a method for adsorbing Mo-99 in a 99 Mo/ 99m Tc generator Abstract The invention relates to a column material for adsorbing Mo-99 in a 99 Mo/ 99m Tc generator, said column material (4) comprising a mesoporous MSU- X Al 2 O 3 and/or TUD1-Al material. Preferably, a pore size of the mesoporous material is in the range of 1.5 – 50 nm, more preferably the pore size is in the range of 2 – 30 nm. The invention further relates to a method for adsorbing Mo-99 in a 99 Mo/ 99m Tc generator, a column (10) and use of a mesoporous material. Figure
