Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for monitoring a storage structure dug into frozen earth. The method comprises a step of receiving a temperature reference associated with at least one temperature sensor, a step of receiving the measured temperature for the temperature sensor, a step of determining a soil fracturing factor according to the temperature measured by the at least one temperature sensor and the temperature reference associated with the at least one temperature sensor, and a conditional step of raising an alert for the at least one sensor if the fracturing factor exceeds a pre-determined threshold.
