The processing machine having a first clamping device for a pipe (22) to be machined, a second clamping device for the pipe (22) to be machined, a tool holder (13) for receiving a parting off tool (14), and a tool holder (15) for receiving a planing tool (16), wherein the first and the second tool holders (13,15) can rotate driven by a motor about an axis of rotation (9), wherein at least the first or the second clamping device can be moved driven by a motor in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation (9) of the first and of the second tool holder (13,15), wherein at least the first tool holder (13) can be advanced driven by a motor in a direction perpendicular to the axis of rotation (9), and wherein the first and the second tool holder (13,15) are set up in such a manner that the tools (14,16) that can be received in the tool holders (13,15) can be made to engage between the first and the second clamping device with the pipe (22) to be machined.
