Es wird ein Leuchtmittel (1) mit einem Lichterzeuger (2) und einer Fassung (3) zum elektrischen Anschluss an eine standardisierte Fassung einer Lampe vorgeschlagen, bei dem noch ein Anwesenheitssensor (4) und ein Kommunikationsmodul (5) vorhanden sind. Daten, die von dem Anwesenheitssensor (4) erfasst werden, werden durch Funksignale oder Powerlinesignale durch das Kommunikationsmodul (5) weitergeleitet.
