Abstract:
A method for determining the thickness of a brake disc (4) of a vehicle having pneumatic tires, in particular a passenger vehicle or a commercial vehicle, comprises the steps of placing an ultrasonic measuring head (6) on the brake disc (4), without dismounting the wheel (10) associated with the brake disc (4); and carrying out ultrasonic measurement in order to determine the thickness of the brake disc (4).
