Abstract:
The invention relates to a blood treatment device (1000), comprising a dialysis filter (100) or a receptacle (9) for a dialysis filter (100), a dialysis-fluid supply line (1) having a first connector (3) for supplying dialysis fluid to the dialysis filter (100), a dialysate discharge line (5) having a second connector (7) for discharging dialysate from the dialysis filter (100), a blood leakage sensor (11) configured and arranged to detect blood in or on the dialysis filter (100), in the dialysis-fluid supply line (1), and/or in the dialysate discharge line (5) and configured to output a blood leakage signal (BLS) if blood is detected, a short-circuit line (13) for connecting the dialysis-fluid supply line (1) and, or to, the dialysate discharge line (5) in fluid communication, wherein for this purpose the short-circuit line (13) has a third connector (15) and a fourth connector (17) each for connecting to one of the first and second connector (3, 7), and a controller (33).
