Abstract:
A lighted dispenser (10) having a light housing (60) comprising a power source (40) and source of light (20) conductively connected to the power source (40) and a treatment composition reservoir (70) operatively connected to the light housing (60), the reservoir (70) having a dispensing outlet (80) wherein the lighted dispenser (10) is sized and dimensioned to fit within an interior portion of a washing appliance. The lighted dispenser (10) is used for irradiating with a visible light a treatment composition comprising a photoactive component in contact with laundry.
