In an example implementation, a domain model of the architectural type is captured and a meta-language for the architectural type is defined. A platform-independent representation of the domain model may be exported. The platform-independent representation of the domain model may be transformed into a platform-specific representation of the domain model that is executable on a targeted runtime platform.
