A vapor cartridge for a non-combustible vaping device, comprising: a channel structure having opposite, first and second ends, the channel structure at least partially defining a channel space extending at least between the first and second ends, and configured to receive a flavor cartridge into the channel space via the first end of the channel structure; a vapor generator at the second end of the channel structure, configured to heat a pre-vapor formulation to form a generated vapor and provide the generated vapor to the second end of the channel structure, the channel structure further configured to receive the flavor cartridge, such that the flavor cartridge is positioned in the channel structure to receive the generated vapor from the vapor generator; and a set of electrically conductive instruments extending into the channel space, configured to independently and directly contact an instance of electrically conductive material of the flavor cartridge, such that the electrically conductive instruments are electrically connected to each other.
