An oral hygiene device (100) and a container (112) adapted for use with such oral hygiene device (100) are provided. The oral hygiene device (100)comprises a rigid elongated body (102); wherein one end of said body (102) is adapted to provide a cleaning portion (104) comprising a plurality of brush members surrounding one or more outlet openings (110); wherein an opposing end of said body (102) is adapted to provide a connecting portion (106) configured for securely receiving a top part of the container (112) that is adapted for storing a cleaning composition, said body (102) including a plunger (116) attached to the body(102), such that the plunger (116) is unable to move relative to the body (102) and can only move together with the body (102), wherein said body (102) includes an internal conduit (120) for conveying said cleaning composition when released from the container (112).
