Stop device (1) for a conveyor system (40) comprising a body (2), a drive unit (3) attached to the body (2), a shaft member (4) rotationally arranged in the body (2) and a wheel (5) arranged to be driven by the drive unit (3), where a freewheeling slip clutch (6) is arranged between the wheel (5) and the drive unit (3). A conveyor system (40) comprising said stop device (1) and a method of controlling a flow of objects (42) on a conveyor track (41) by using said stop device (1) are also provided. The advantage of the invention is that a reliable, cost-effective and safe stop device for a conveyor system is provided.
