Floor panel comprising a core (6) and decorative layer (7) applied thereon, wherein the material of the aforementioned core (6) has a density of more than 1000 kg/m3, preferably more than 1300 kg/m3, and has a thickness of 6 millimeters or more, characterized in that the core (6) has internal spaces and/or that the core (6) has spaces (9) on its bottom side. The invention furthermore relates to a method for manufacturing such floor panels (1).
