A processor receives a set of utilization data from computing devices. The processor determines a location data corresponding to utilization data of the one of the computing devices. The processor determines a carbon footprint of the computing devices based on the utilization data and the location data. The processor compares the carbon footprint against a carbon footprint threshold. The processor transmits remediation control instructions, based on the comparison, to the computing devices
