The garment (120) is a lower extremity snow sport garment such as a pair of snow pants or bib with a waist belt region (122) and a pair of leg members (124). The pocket (150) is located on one of the leg members (124) and includes an internal region (154) and a selective closure system (152) such as a zipper. The sleeve (170) is located within the internal region (154) of the pocket (150) and includes an opening (174) and an internal transceiver region (172) shaped to accommodate an avalanche transceiver (250). The continuous strap (190) may be a single piece of nylon webbing stitched in one or more locations. The continuous strap (190) encircles the transceiver region (172) of the sleeve (170) and extends to the waist belt region (122) of the garment.

    The shaft member may include an upper and lower shaft member slidably intercoupled to facilitate extended and collapsed configurations. A first end of the shaft member is releasably coupled to the blade member in a radially reversible orientation to facilitate either the shovel mode or the hoe mode. The shaft member includes a curvature disposed in proximity to the first end, and the blade member includes a corresponding curvature. The shovel mode includes a substantially parallel orientation of the blade member and the substantially straight lengthwise orientation of the shaft member. The hoe mode includes a substantially orthogonal orientation of the blade member and the substantially straight lengthwise orientation of the shaft member.

The cam lobes are configured to rotate between a retracted state and a spring biased extended state. The connection system includes a lengthwise cable coupled to the terminal. The retraction system is uniquely configured to enable selective engagement of the retracted state of the cam lobes with respect to the cam head. The retraction system includes slidably externally coupling a trigger and retraction sleeve to the cam lobes over the cable. A set of independent sleeves are also slidably coupled to the cable over the retraction sleeve between the trigger and cam lobes. The independent sleeves may be conically shaped and oriented to adjacently internest with one another so as to protect the retraction sleeve during operation of the retraction system.

    摘要： The present invention relates to adjustable harness leg loops. One embodiment of the present invention relates to a harness leg loop system comprising a first and second leg loop intercoupled with one another at respective coupling points. The first and second leg loops include interior regions within which a user's leg may be disposed. The areas of the interior regions are individually selectively adjustable via respective slidable members disposed between the interior region and the coupling point of each leg loop. The selective adjustability of the interior region areas does not substantially affect the rise between the interior regions and the coupling points. The minimum shear strength of the interior regions is independent of the slidable members. Therefore, if one of the slidable members fails, an object coupled through the interior region will not necessarily break free from the interior region.
