The additive method for manufacturing at least one part comprises the following steps: -a) depositing at least one layer of powder on a working surface using a layering device comprising means for distributing the powder, movable in translation along said surface, -b) at least partially fusing said deposited layer using an energy beam, and -c) repeating steps a) and b) in order to form the part by stacking fused layers, said method being characterised in that: - the distribution means of said device are movable in a direction substantially parallel to the direction of the length of each fused layer of the part, and - steps a) and b) are repeated to form the part such that the length of said part extends in a direction substantially parallel to the stacking direction of the fused layers and a head of the part is oriented substantially perpendicular to the working surface.
