    摘要： The invention provides a convenient and practical apparatus for allowing an operator to perform editing operation and then record image data related to the editing operations to photographic film. A camera includes a camera operator interface (74) for selecting at least one of a film mode of operation, a hybrid mode of operation and a digital mode of operation; a removable memory interface connection (130) for receiving a removable memory device; a digital imaging system (16,70) for generating a digital image representative of an imaged subject scene in each of the film mode, hybrid mode and digital mode of operation; a working memory (124) for storing the digital image generated by the digital imaging means as a working image; a photographic imaging system (14, 60) for imaging the subject scene onto a photographic film to generate a photographic film image corresponding to the digital image in the film mode and the hybrid mode of operation; and a control processor (68,72) for generating a film mode digital image, a digital mode digital image and a hybrid mode digital image from the working image, respectively, in the film mode, digital mode and hybrid mode of operation. Photofinishing related to the corresponding photographic film image is recorded on the photographic film by a recording mechanism (108) under control of the control processor. A communication port (136) couples the control processor to an external host computer (232), wherein the communication port receives photofinishing data from the host computer and transfers the data to the control processor for recording on the photographic film by the recording means.

    摘要： A camera incorporates a working memory (124) for storing a working image corresponding to the last captured image. The working image is displayed on a display screen (36) in a quick review mode of operation in response to a quick review signal entered by the camera operator via a camera control interface (74) to control processing circuitry (68,72) of the camera. The processing circuitry controls the display screen to keep it in an inactive state until the quick review signal is entered, and returns it to an inactive state after a predetermined time period or when the quick review signal is discontinued to conserve energy. In addition, the working image is displayed in the quick review mode regardless of whether a non-volatile memory is available in the camera or, in the case of a hybrid camera, whether a film cartridge is contained in a film chamber (98) of the camera.
