    摘要: A semiconductor switching device (S) includes a row of a plurality of switching elements (S 1 -S n ) connected in series. The input terminal of the input-nearest switching element (S n ) and the output terminal of the output-nearest switching element (S 1 ) among the row are connected with the input terminal (TRI) and output terminal (TRO) of the semiconductor switching device (S), respectively. An control signal is applied to the control terminal (TRC) of the output-nearest switching element (S 1 ). The semiconductor switching device comprises a first plurality of capacitive elements (C 1 -C n-1 ) each of which is connected between the ouput terminal of the output-nearer switching element and the control terminal of the input-nearer (S 1 -S n-1 ) switching element (S 2 -S n ) of the adjacent switching elements among the switching element row; and a second capacitive element (C n ) connected between the output terminal and input terminal of the input-nearest switching element (S n ). At least the switching elements (S 2 -S n ) have insulating gates, respectively.

Owing to this construction, even if voltage-current characteristic of a load having constant voltage chracteristic, such as a magnetron, vary due to variations in the temperature, etc., the output voltage is automatically compensated and a stable electric power can be supplied to the load.

    摘要: A three-phase a.c. uninterruptible power supply includes a transformer needing insulation, a single-phase inverter (2), and a cycloconverter (4). The uninterruptible power supply operates to convert a d.c. voltage into a high-frequncy a.c. voltage in the single-phase inverter (2), transmit the output voltage of the single-phase inverter (2) in an insulating state, and convert the output of the transformer into a three-phase voltage having a lower frequency such as 50 or 60 Hz than the frequency of the output voltage of the single-phase inverter (2). It results in allowing the transformer needing insulation to use a high-frequency signal, thereby reducing the transformer itself in size.

    摘要: In a power conversion system, a DC voltage of a DC power supply (1) is converted into a predetermined high-frequency voltage by an inverter (2), and a high-frequency low voltage generated from the inverter (2) is converted into a high-frequency high voltage by a transformer (3). A high-frequency high voltage generated from a secondary winding of the transformer (3) is converted into a predetermined low-frequency voltage by a frequency changing circuit (4). The commutating operation of the frequency changing circuit (4) is performed by a control circuit (1000) in response to the output current of the frequency changing circuit (4) and in synchronism with the starting time of the short-circuiting prevention period of the inverter (2). As a result, the converted output of the power conversion system is prevented from decreasing.
