In order to efficiently make a high quality cement clinker by firing with a small heat loss in a sintering method of a cement clinker which granulates and fires pre-heated cement raw material in a fluidized bed granulation/firing furnace and then introduces the clinker so granulated and fired into a cooler, by using only one fluidized bed granulation/firing furnace, the clinker is discharged from the fluidized bed granulation/firing furnace (14) through a gas dispersion plate (22) or through a clinker drop port (26) disposed on the extension of the gas dispersion plate (22) in a radial direction, the open area of this drop port (26) is adjusted by a gate (34) so that a difference pressure of the fluidized bed (18) becomes constant, air for classifying and cooling the clinker is blasted into a discharge shoot (28) connected to the drop port (26), the blast air quantity is regulated so that an air velocity blown out from the drop port (26) is different from an inflow air velocity through a nozzle of the gas dispersion plates (22), and the clinker is introduced into the cooler (16) through air-tight discharge means (30) positioned below a classification/cooling air blast position.

A sintering method of cement clinkers in which preheated cement raw material powder is granulated and sintered in a fluidized bed granulating and sintering furnace, and granulated and sintered clinkers are introduced into a cooling device, for manufacturing high-quality cement clinkers by use of a single fluidized bed granulating and sintering furnace efficiently with a small heat loss, wherein clinkers are discharged from the fluidized bed granulating and sintering furnace (14) through a clinker dropping hole (26) which is provided in a fluidizing gas distributor (22) of the furnace (14) or in a radial direction extending from the gas distributor (22), an opening area of the clinker dropping hole (26) is regulated by a gate portion (34) to maintain the differential pressure in a fluidized bed (18) within a predetermined range, air for classifying and cooling the clinkers is blown into a discharge chute (28) connected to the clinker dropping hole (26), the amount of the blown air is regulated to make the flow velocity of the air blowing from the clinker dropping hole (26) different from the flow velocity of air flowing through nozzles of the gas distributor (22), and the clinkers are introduced into a cooling device (16) through a hermetic discharge device (30) provided below the classifying and cooling air intake position.
