摘要： The aim of the invention is to process weft yarns, and weft yarns having poor tear strength, in a problem-free manner on weaving machines, in particular air-jet weaving machines, which are operated in the slow cycle after the first weaving cycle has started. According to the invention, this is achieved by virtue of the fact that the weft yarn (3) which is introduced into a shed (4) in a first weaving cycle after the weaving machine has been started, is connected by separate connecting yarns (8) in a temporal manner prior to connection by the chain yarns (2) and the connecting yarns (8) locally connect to at least one position of the shed (4) after the entry thereof.
