摘要: Provided is an emergency stop system for an elevator including a state sensor for detecting an operation of a car, a brake device for braking the car, a brake controller for outputting a signal for operating the brake device based on a signal detected by the state sensor and an uninterruptible power supply device for supplying electric power to the sensor, the brake device, and the controller. The controller has a signal processing/calculating unit for calculating the deceleration of the car based on the signal detected by the sensor, a command value calculating unit for calculating a command value for operating the brake device based on the deceleration of the car calculated by the processing/calculating unit and a power monitoring device for monitoring a state of the uninterruptible power supply device. At least one of the sensor, the processing/calculating unit, and the calculating unit has a plurality of independent systems.

摘要: An elevator apparatus has a car suspended by a main rope through the intermediation of a shackle spring. The car is equipped with a displacement sensor for measuring the displacement amount of the main rope with respect to the car. The displacement sensor is electrically connected to an abnormality control device mounted on the car. The abnormality control device obtains the magnitude of the tension of the main rope based on information from the displacement sensor, and selectively outputs a braking command signal to one of the following devices: an operation control device, a brake device, and an emergency stop device, according to the magnitude of the tension of the main rope.

摘要: An elevator comprising a first governor (121) for braking an emergency stopper (10) engaging a guide rail by restricting the circulation movement of a governor rope (13) suspended in an elevator shaft (1) when the speed of a cage (8) ascending/descending the elevator shaft (1) reaches a first over speed. The cage (8) is also provided with a second governor (42) which brakes the emergency stopper (10) when the cage speed reaches a second over speed lower than the first over speed. Furthermore, an end region drive means (55) is provided in the elevator shaft (1) in order to drive the second governor (42) when the cage (8) ascends or descends an end region. When the cage (8) is descending at an over speed in the end region of the elevator shaft (1), the emergency stopper (10) is actuated by an over speed lower than the emergency brake over-speed in the intermediate region of the elevator shaft (1). Consequently, marginal distance of the cage (8) can be shortened at the end of the elevator shaft and the construction cost of the elevator shaft (1) and the manufacturing cost of a shock absorber (111) can be saved.

摘要: In an escalator with a high speed inclined section, a plurality of steps are coupled in an endless manner and are moved to circulate. Driving roller shafts of the steps adjacent to each other are coupled with each other by a link mechanism. An interval between the driving roller shafts is changed as the link mechanism is transformed. An outer peripheral length change absorbing mechanism is provided in a reversing section of a circulation path of the steps. The outer peripheral length change absorbing mechanism absorbs a change in an outer peripheral length of a polygon formed by connecting axes of the driving rollers with straight lines, while guiding the movement of the driving rollers in the reversing section.

By means of such a construction, when the car (8) descends at an overspeed in the end region of the hoistway (1), the emergency stopper (10) performs braking operation at an overspeed lower than an emergency braking overspeed which would be achieved in an intermediate region of the hoistway (1).
