The invention is characterized in that the shank receiving the handle of the instrument, comprises a transverse countersink (7d), off-center relative to the longitudinal axis (7e) of the shank, provided in the end of the shank and emerging into the bore (7b), the width (I) of the countersink being such that it enables the instrument handle to be engaged such that the lateral flat surface of the handle is in contact with the wall (7f) of the countersink, closest to the longitudinal axis (7c) so as to provide rotational coupling and so that the shoulder of the flat surface of the handle abuts the base (7c) of the longitudinal bore (7b) of the shank, so as to provide an axial stop function in the inserting direction.
