摘要： The present technology relates to an information processing device, an information processing method, and a program to enable transmission of information that is from a different device.
An acquisition unit that acquires information from a different device, a detection unit that detects whether or not a user pays attention to the different device, and a transmission control unit that transmits the information to the user when it is detected by the detection unit that the user pays attention to the different device are included. The transmission control unit does not perform transmission of the information until the detection unit detects that the user pays attention to the different device. The present technology can be applied, for example, to an agent device that controls a device installed in a house or that presents appropriate information to the user.
