    摘要: The invention relates to a device for digitally displaying the electric charge stored in electriticy storage devices. According to the invention, a charge meter (1), a monitor (8) and a monitor controller (6), formed using flexible printed electronics, are incorporated into a flexible plastic support (9), in which the tracks of the corresponding electronic circuits have been printed with conductive ink, said circuits being soldered to the tracks. The resulting device is fitted externally to the wall of the battery, at any visible point thereof, and the output cables of the electronic module measuring the charge level are connected to the battery terminals. The entire assembly is secured and protected by means of external plastic coating.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for digitally displaying the electric charge stored in electriticy storage devices. The battery tester is disposed on a battery with a first voltage divider having a terminal coupled to a terminal of the voltage controlled display and a second voltage divider having a terminal coupled to a second terminal of the voltage controlled display. The second voltage divider includes a nonlinear device. A major advantage of the tester compared to other testers is that a consumer can merely look at the tester on the battery to determine whether the battery is good or not. This tester eliminates the need to hold the battery and depress a switch to engage the battery tester.

    characterised in that a contact is disposed to contact one of said termini and the other contact is disposed at the other one of said external termini of said sealed cylindrical container, the first of said contacts being separated from electrical contact with a first of said termini by an apertured insulator on the side of said cell whereby in operation of said indicator said first contact may be brought into electrical contact with said first terminus by application of external pressure to cause it to pass through an aperture in said insulator and come into electrical contact with said first terminus, and whereby said electrical contact is broken by removal of said external pressure, and in that said indicator is positioned between the external surface of said label and one of said first termini;
    and further characterised in that said thermal insulator is the minimum thickness necessary to permit the cell condition indicator to function reliably, said thermal insulation being positioned between said resistance heating element and the external surface of said cylindrical container.
