    摘要: A transport mechanism for an optical disc cartridge capable of discharging an optical disc cartridge to a predetermined position by making a transport roller in pressure contact with the optical disc cartridge even if the cartridge is erroneously inserted. A transport roller (5) is supported by an arm (4). When the transport roller (5) is made in pressure contact with the side wall of an optical disc cartridge, the cartridge is transported. A guide arm (12) is rotatively mounted which projects into an optical disc cartridge transport path between the transport roller (5) and a disc insertion port. If the optical disc cartridge is inserted in a normal orientation, the guide arm (12) is rotated by the optical disc cartridge to rotate the arm (4) in the clockwise direction to allow the optical disc cartridge to be inserted, whereas if the optical disc cartridge is inserted in an orientation rotated by 90 DEG from the normal orientation, the transport roller is made in pressure contact with the side wall of the optical disc cartridge.

    摘要: Disclosed is an elevating apparatus of a spindle assembly (16) of a disc player for adjusting height of the spindle assembly (16) to rotate a minidisc and a compact disc which are mounted on a minidisc tray and a compact disc tray, respectively. The spindle assembly (16) having a turntable (14) for rotating the disc mounted on the tray is secured thereto to reciprocate vertically in a first direction. The elevating apparatus is secured to a lower portion of the base plate to reciprocate in a horizontal direction of a second direction perpendicular to the first direction thereby to move vertically the spindle assembly (16). An actuation apparatus is provided thereon to move backwards and forwards the elevating apparatus. In the compact and minidisc player capable of selective reproduction operation, height difference between a minidisc mounting surface and a compact disc mounting surface can be compensated.

    摘要: A transport mechanism for an optical disc cartridge capable of discharging an optical disc cartridge to a predetermined position by making a transport roller in pressure contact with the optical disc cartridge even if the cartridge is erroneously inserted.     摘要: A disk transport mechanism for moving disks into a disk-player transports disks between an eject position and a playback or storage position inside the disk-player. The tray passes through an opening in the disk-player when it moves from the eject position to the playback or storage position. The disk transport mechanism carries the disk on a tray with a circular recess which locates the disk precisely in the tray. A disk improperly placed in the tray, so that it rests on a ridge around the circular recess, could cause damage when the tray passes through the opening. To prevent this, the transport mechanism abruptly accelerates the tray during movement into the disk-player by momentarily halting or reversing a drive motor of the disk transport mechanism. The acceleration of the tray causes any improperly mounted disk to fall into the circular recess before the disk can jam in the opening, thereby preventing injury to the disk or the disk-player.
