An image forming apparatus(1) includes a cover(32) and a locking mechanism(33). The locking mechanism(33) restricts a turning of the cover (32) from a closed position. The locking mechanism(33) has a first locking member (41), a second locking member(42) and a lever member(43). The first locking member(41) and the second locking member(42) are movable between a lock position where they engage with the apparatus main body (2) and an unlock position where they disengage with the apparatus main body (2). The lever member(43) moves the first locking member(41) and the second locking member(42) between the lock position and the unlock position. An engagement quantity of the first locking member(41) with the apparatus main body (2) is larger than that of the second locking member (42) at the lock position. The first locking member (41) is formed with an engaging piece(49) which is turnable by turning of the cover (32) in an opening direction at the unlock position.

A flooring system comprises a plurality of floor panels which are mechanically connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent joint edges. Each floor panel is provided with a first groove formed in one piece with the panel at a first joint edge and a flexible tongue (30) connected to a second groove at a second opposite joint edge for mechanically locking together said adjacent joint edges at right angles to the principal plane of the panels, thereby forming a vertical mechanical connections between the panels. The panels are further provided with a locking element at one of said first and second joint edges and a locking groove at an opposite first or second joint edge, for mechanically locking together said adjacent joint edges parallel to the principal plane and at right angles to the joint edges, the locking groove being open towards a rear side of the panel and the locking elements protrudes vertically from a locking strip. The flexible tongue (30) is flexible and resilient such that two panels can be mechanically joined by displacement of said two panels vertically towards each other, while at least a part of the flexible tongue (30) at said second opposite joint edge is resiliently displaced horizontally, until said adjacent edges of the two panels are brought into engagement with each other horizontally, the flexible tongue (30) at said second opposite joint edge is then displaced towards its initial position and against a wall of the first groove at said first joint edge. The flexible tongue is an extruded section with a groove portion located in the second groove and a projecting portion located outside the second groove, and said groove portion is resilient and punched.
