摘要: A method for cooling a furnace electrode (1) made of graphite, comprises mixing a surfactant comprising an alkylphenol and an oxirane polymer with water to form a cooling liquid (5), whereby the surfactant is present in the cooling liquid in an amount in a range of from 10 mg/l to 5,000 mg/l, as well as spraying at least a surface of the furnace electrode (1) disposed adjacent a furnace (6) with the cooling liquid (5), thereby cooling the furnace electrode (1).

摘要: The method comprises a first phase comprising a cooling unit (1) which cools down a first fluid, said cooling unit (1) is connected by first pipes (2), which convey the first fluid, to an accumulation tank (3) which calculates the temperature of the first fluid, and when such first fluid reaches -30°C or less, the accumulation tank (3) sends the fluid to the second phase; if the fluid has not reached the predetermined temperature, the fluid is returned through second pipes (5) to the first cooling unit (1) and is recirculated until it reaches the predetermined temperature.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for heating and cooling fluids by means of a device (10) that comprises at least one compartment (11a, 11b, 11c, 11d) in which a barocaloric material (BA) is provided; a first fluid circuit for circulating a first fluid at a first pressure; and a second fluid circuit for circulating a second fluid at a second pressure. The method comprises: communicating the compartment with the first circuit, so that the first fluid at the first pressure circulates through the compartment and the barocaloric material is heated, and so that heat is transferred from the barocaloric material to the first fluid, heating the first fluid; and communicating the compartment with the second circuit, so that the second fluid at the second pressure circulates through the compartment and the barocaloric material is cooled, and so that heat is transferred from the second fluid to the barocaloric material, cooling the second fluid.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a heat transfer fluid concentrate comprising: greater than or equal to 90 weight percent of a freezing point depressant; 16 to 80 ppm of magnesium ions; an azole compound; an inorganic phosphate; a carboxylate; and an acrylate based polymer, wherein the heat transfer fluid concentrate has a pH of 7-9.5 and the weight ration of acrylate based polymer to magnesium ions is 1 to 25. The heat transfer fluid concentrate can be used to make a heat transfer fluid.
