摘要： A lawn care device may include a cutting deck housing at least one blade, an engine configured to selectively provide for rotation of the at least one blade responsive to selective coupling of the rotary power of the engine to the at least one blade via a power takeoff (PTO) clutch, and a PTO switch that is operable in two directions to engage or disengage the PTO clutch based on which one of the two directions the PTO switch is moved by a user. The PTO switch may be biased to return to a neutral position after each operation thereof. The PTO switch may be configured to perform at least one additional operational function responsive to sequential operation of the PTO switch in at least one of the two directions.

摘要： The present invention relates to a power window switch apparatus (1) having a switch housing (5) supporting at least one actuation element (2) for user access at a first surface (4) of the switch housing (5). 摘要： A momentary pushbutton multiposition slide switch is provided which can be readily manufactured in miniature size from substantially fewer components than switches of conventional construction while providing the same electrical functionality. The switch includes a slider assembly (10) that provides three switch positions: a normally open position, a position providing switch closure between first fixed contacts (38) and a switch position providing switch closure between second fixed contacts (38). The slider assembly (10) includes a slider contact that is carried by an assembly body, the slide contact (34) selectively bridging fixed contacts (38) to be interconnected at each slide position. The slider assembly (10) also includes a pushbutton (22) that incorporates detent means. In one embodiment, the detent means is cooperative with a detent portion of a resilient contact element (40). In an alternate embodiment, the detent means includes a ball and spring assembly (48, 50) that is cooperative with recesses (32) in a confronting wall of a switch housing (12). Depression of the pushbutton (22) causes engagement of the resilient contact element (40) with a cooperative fixed contact (38) to provide momentary switch closure. The fixed contacts (38) are retained on an insulative mounting board (14) that is secured to the switch housing (12) which also supports the slide assembly. The fixed contacts (38) terminate in external leads or terminals (16) for connection to associated circuitry.
