[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A black ink composition comprising at least a mixture of two specific blacking colorants. A black ink composition which can ensure a substantially achromatic hue even in an intermediate duty by further adding a specific colorant. The combined addition of C.I. Direct Yellow 86 can realize hue adjustment with a higher accuracy.

The ink exhibit excellent properties for ink jet printing.

[Problem to be Solved] The present invention is to provide a black ink composition that not only enhances print quality, and guarantees ozone fastness of a printed product printed by the inkjet recording method, but can also inhibit bronzing. Providing a black ink composition where even color under medium duty is maintained. [Solution] The invention provides a black ink composition where at least specific two types of black colorant are mixed. A black ink composition that can guarantee color hue dose to achromatic color even under medium duty conditions is provided by adding specific colorant. Color hue is more accurately adjusted by using C.I. Direct Yellow 86 together.
