摘要: A powder container (30) is detachably attached to an image forming apparatus (100) or a removable component (10) in the apparatus. The powder container includes an operation device (39) and a rotation portion (43) to rotate with operation of the operation device. The rotation portion is configured to contact a wall (76) of the apparatus or the removable component in a state in which the rotation portion maintains a posture in a direction of attachment of the powder container to the apparatus or the removable component and is rotatable together with an engagement portion (71), which is opposed to the wall, of the apparatus or the removable component while engaging the engagement portion, without hindering the powder container from moving in the direction of attachment, to restrain the powder container from moving in a direction of detachment from the apparatus or the removable component.

摘要: There are provided an optical writing device (2) and an image forming device (1) capable of suppressing deterioration in optical performance.
An optical writing device (2) is provided with an imaging means and a casing (60). The imaging means includes a scanning optical member (50) having a power in a main-scanning direction, the scanning optical member (50) having a linear expansion coefficient different from a linear expansion coefficient of the casing (60). The casing (60) includes positioners (62a, 62b, and 62c) in an optical axis direction. A central position (CP3) in a sub-scanning direction of the positioner (62c) is located between central positions (CP1 and CP2) in the sub-scanning direction of the positioners (62a and 62b). Positions in the sub-scanning direction of bonding positions (51a, 51b, 51c, and 51d) and positions in the sub-scanning direction of the positioners (62a, 62b, and 62c) overlap with each other. The optical writing device (2) is further provided with a positioner (63) in the main-scanning direction, and the positioner (63) is located on a positioner (62c) side with respect to a central position (CL) of the scanning optical member (50) in the main-scanning direction.

摘要: A developing cartridge includes a developing electrode and a supply electrode. The developing electrode includes a first electrical contact in contact with a developing roller shaft, and a second electrical contact positioned closer to the developing roller shaft than a second agitator gear is to the developing roller shaft. The second electrical contact is positioned farther from the developing roller shaft than the first electrical contact is from the developing roller shaft. The supply electrode includes a first electrical contact in contact with the supply roller shaft, and a second electrical contact positioned closer to the developing roller shaft than the second agitator gear is to the developing roller shaft. The second electrical contact of the supply electrode is positioned farther from the developing roller shaft than the second electrical contact of the developing electrode is from the developing roller shaft.

摘要: It is an object to suppress a coupling from rotating in a second rotational direction opposite to a first rotational direction.
A developing cartridge includes: a developing roller 12 rotatable about a first axis 12X extending in an axial direction; a coupling 22 for rotating the developing roller 12, the coupling 22 being rotatable about a second axis 22X extending in the axial direction; a shaft 27B rotatably supporting the coupling 22; and a clutch 40 rotatable together with the coupling 22 about the shaft 27B in a case where the coupling 22 rotates in a first rotational direction D1, wherein, in a case where the coupling 22 rotates in a second rotational direction D2 opposite to the first rotational direction D1, the clutch 40 engages with a portion of the shaft 27B and the clutch 40 and the coupling 22 do not rotate.
